At the beginning of the Methodist revival movement in the 1700's, when Englishman John Wesley sent Francis Asbury off to America, Asbury asked, "What shall I tell them?" Wesley replied, "Offer them Christ!"
Our ministry is to "offer them Christ". Serving others is serving Him, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Giving our time and encouragement to another will often be more valuable than even the most generous gift.
When others need our help, Mt Bethel Church makes a special effort to show them that we care. By providing love, support and prayer we can make a real difference in the lives of others. The apostle Paul has reminded us that helping others is fundamental to the gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
At Mt Bethel United Methodist Church we offer Christ through our mission of OUTREACH; Outwardly Utilizing Talents Reverently Extending A Christian Hand. Through family ministry, signature ministry and partnering with local, metro, national & global agencies our zeal is to "offer them Christ!"
