What is RaiseRight formerly ShopWithScrip ? 
It is using retail shopping cards & e-cards as an option for using one's typical daily expenses in a ministry way.   
  1. RaiseRIght is retail shopping cards / Gift cards. 
  2. You pay face value for shopping/gift card and Mt. Bethel Church earns a percentage of the card's value.
  3. There's NO additional cost to you.  
  4. Average rebate to Mt. Bethel Church's ministry fund is 6%. 
  5. Can purchase cards at church at the RaiseRight Table in the fellowship hall; you can give your order to one of the RaiseRight volunteers (Linda E. or Judy A; OR you can input your order yourself. You can order new plastic shopping cards, reload some of your existing cards.
Re-loaded and RaiseRight Now!
  • Re-load: takes 24-48 hours to see the money on your existing plastic card.
  • Re-Load NOW: Funds show on the card once the funds are received and the order is released.  Pay Mt Bethel's RaiseRight facilitators with cash or check OR you may control the reload using PrestoPay. You control the timing and you can have the funds on your card within a few minutes.  
  • RaiseRight NOW: are 8.5x11" paper e-cards that work just like the plastic cards. E-cards are not Re-loadable, but you can always order and print a new one.  
  • Recommendation by our RaiseRight facilitators, PrestoPay is the way to go.
Presto Pay
The RaiseRight program's version of Pay Pal.  You control it yourself. you never have to bring a check to Mt Bethel's RaiseRight facilitators and wait. You are in control. It takes 3-5 days for Presto Pay to to activate your initial Presto Pay application.  They use the same secure system used by banks, major retailers, and social security.

Our RaiseRight facilitators, Linda Emerson, Judy Alich, and Joann Larson, highly recommend Presto Pay for doing RaiseRight yourself. 
RaiseRight formerly known as Shop with Scrip has come out with a phone app.   An easy way to support Mt Bethel Church.  A small percentage rebate is earned by Mt Bethel Church.
  1. Available for both Apple and Android phones.   It is very easy to use with your smart phone. 
  2. Register yourself & provide the security information.  Please email xxx for the enrollment code.
  3. You can load your cards, order new cards, and do it all from the comfort of your home.   
  4. If you link your bank account, it is all done in a few minutes with only a $0.15 bank fee. It is a secure site; Mt Bethel has used it for years with no issues.
  5. The option is still there to “Pay the coordinator-Mt Bethel”, but then you need to get the funds to Linda E, Judy A, or Joan L at church before the order is processed.   There is no “ship to home” unless you pay online.
  6. Ship to home: About 250 of the 600 retailer’s cards are eligible for “ship to home” via USPS. The fee for that is $.50 handling and $.50 per card.  That fee is paid by the purchaser rather than the organization.  Delivery time is dependent on the USPS.   No shipping charge for reloads or e-cards.
